New to Trail?

Frequently Asked Questions

What time are services?

We meet in the indoor Worship Center on Sundays at 10am, and in the Fireside Room on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Services include around 20-minutes of praise followed by a 60-minute exposition-style study in God’s Word.

Is Trail Christian Fellowship part of a denomination?

TCF is not part of a denomination. Trail Christian Fellowship is evangelical in spirit, and conservative in theology. Though independent of any church affiliations, we seek to emphasize the unity and fellowship of all believers within the Body of Christ, denominational or otherwise.

What’s the atmosphere like at TCF?

TCF is a casual atmosphere where all are invited and welcomed to “come as you are”. We’re more concerned about connecting with you than what you’re wearing. If you’d like an inside look into what services “feel” like at TCF, you can sample any number of available services on our YouTube Channel, which include both Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services.

What’s the worship like?

TCF’s worship music style is contemporary, including both modern and traditional choruses and hymns in a range of styles that reflect the diverse nature of our congregation . The purpose of corporate worship is to facilitate the body of Christ singing together in unity, in spirit, and in truth.

How do I know which Sunday School class my child should be in?

Children are divided by age and/or school year so they are in groups where they will feel comfortable. TCF also offers an AWANA program during the school year, as well as the youth clubs American Heritage Girls and Trail Life USA . For questions about the TCF Children’s Ministry, call 541.878.3501 or email debbie@trail.org.

Is TCF active in the community?

TCF is very active in our local AND global communities. Locally, TCF supports Youth for Christ, the Rogue Valley Pregnancy Resource Center, Grace Christian Schools, Medford Gospel Mission, Wilderness Trails, the Women’s Shelter, youth and adult corrections facilities, local nursing homes, Pacific Bible College, as well as the various ways individuals are involved at a local level. Globally, TCF has an active role in places such as Mexico, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Africa, Asia, Indonesia and areas of the middle East. For more information email outreach.

What kind of education do the TCF Pastors have?

The majority of our pastors hold degrees, while at the same time continuing their education at seminaries and universities across the Western U.S. The pastoral staff is committed to congregational education and teaching the Bible with clarity and accuracy. The goal of our pastoral team is to deepen our understanding of God’s word, strengthen our faith, and equip us in the task of defending what we believe.
