MyTCF has migrated to Realm!

Realm is an online/mobile platform that will streamline the way we connect with our church family.

Our existing MyTCF and Church Life app are fading away and will be gone soon.

Most of those functions are turned off or are not up to date. Details are coming soon about TCF’s new Realm account. In preparation, download the Realm Connect app so it is ready for you to use when the transition is complete and you are able to log in.

Thank you for your patience during this transition.

TCF is located on Crater Lake Highway (Hwy 62) 17 miles north of Medford between Eagle Point and Shady Cove. Our address is 18881 Hwy 62, Eagle Point, Oregon, 97524. Northbound from Medford, TCF’s left turn lane is just beyond the 17 mile marker.

Trail Christian Fellowship is located in Southern Oregon’s beautiful Rogue River Valley. Just 25 minutes drive from Medford, take Highway 62 and follow the signs to Crater Lake. At mile post 17 put your left turn signal on and look for our campus and left-turn lane to come up in less than 3/10’s of a mile. Coming from the north, we are two miles south of Shady Cove city limits on the right. If you are a newcomer to the area or planning to visit, please consider this your invitation to come worship with us!

TCF is not part of a denomination. Trail Christian Fellowship is evangelical in spirit, and conservative in theology. Though independent of any church affiliations, we seek to emphasize the unity and fellowship of all believers within the Body of Christ, denominational or otherwise.

TCF is a casual atmosphere where all are invited and welcomed to “come as you are.” We’re more concerned about connecting with you than what you’re wearing. If you’d like an inside look into what services “feel” like at TCF, you can sample any number of available services on our YouTube Channel, which include both Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services.

TCF’s worship music style is contemporary, including both modern and traditional choruses and hymns in a range of styles that reflect the diverse nature of our congregation . The purpose of corporate worship is to facilitate the body of Christ singing together in unity, in spirit, and in truth.

Children are divided by age and/or school year so they are in groups where they will feel comfortable. TCF also offers an AWANA program during the school year, as well as the youth clubs American Heritage Girls and Trail Life USA.

The majority of our pastors hold degrees, while at the same time continuing their education at seminaries and universities across the Western U.S. The pastoral staff is committed to congregational education and teaching the Bible with clarity and accuracy. The goal of our pastoral team is to deepen our understanding of God’s word, strengthen our faith, and equip us in the task of defending what we believe.

The first Sunday morning meeting of Trail Christian Fellowship happened in January of 1980. There were about ten adults, plus some kids. The young church met through the winter and into spring at the home of Steve and Sylvia McCuistion as Pastor Rick Booye taught the Scriptures. Quickly the gathering outgrew the home setting and moved to the Elk Trail School Cafeteria, perched on Trail Creek. People kept coming to Christ and coming to church, so TCF migrated regularly, foraging for enough square footage to accommodate the growing body. Over the next four years TCF used the Elk Trail School Gym, Shady Cove Grange, the Shady Cove School Multipurpose Room, the Shady Cove Gym, and the Shady Cove Community Center, as the body increased to roughly 300 souls. When the Shady Cove Gym burned to the ground, TCF crowded into the Community Center, and it seemed the Lord was calling the growing church to buy property and build its own facility. The Lord graciously supplied the land and the money and since 1985 TCF has been at its present location, a 10-acre campus on a 20-acre piece of property just south of Shady Cove.

The message around which our fellowship has grown is the gospel of Jesus Christ – the good news that Christ is the risen king of the universe, offering forgiveness and new life in his name to all who put simple faith in him. Our theology is of the classic evangelical sort and our worship style is casual, contemporary, and centered on the exposition of the Scriptures with a constant emphasis on the Cross of Christ. The message of the gospel has the power to change lives, heal sin, and transform society. Jesus Christ Is Lord.

Soli Deo Gloria.
